2004
“Continental Tires” invited 9ff to Nardo to the high-speed track in Italy. The entire 9FF team is excited and has high expectations of itself because we want to show what we can do. The unknown newcomer.

We are working on and improving it until the last minute, and as time is running out, we have to say goodbye with mixed feelings and totally
sleepless, charging our 9FF T6 to arrive in Nardo on time
2400 km take time! Finally arrived, meet

Driver is well, happy and satisfied, the vehicle has no problems
made and the 9ff family is bursting with pride!

Due to the success in May, the bar has been raised! The almost unattainable goal of 400 km/h is being considered! Arrogance
comes before a fall, many people thought.

Jan Fatthauer plans, tests, tries, rejects, builds and develops with
his team.
After many long sleepless nights, despair, and hope, it is
finally completed. The result: 9FF V400! A silver
Sports car, with red 9FF decals, carbon hood, carbon roof and
Rear lid with rear wing in “Le Mans” look.

We rent the high-speed line in Nardo for only 9FF.
For €28,000.00 we have the route to ourselves - and an ambulance
with paramedics, the fire brigade with crew and track marshals with
Mosquito spray.

We didn’t have many opportunities to test - in
Germany is winter!

The film team from SAT 1 accompanies us. The employees from the tire manufacturer “Continental” are Mr. Rossenbach and Mr. Bergmann. Mr. Schläper from the company “raid” and
some journalists from renowned trade magazines.

Mission 400Km/h begins. For eight hours we try, tape off, reduce, the psychological pressure is
getting bigger as time passes! Everyone is incredibly nervous, things aren't going as planned!

We think: “We’re crazy! What a crazy idea!”

At the last minute, Jan Fatthauer drives the V400: 616Kw, 838PS, 870Nm

388 km/h!!!

Even though we didn't reach "our" goal, we are very, very proud of what we managed to achieve in such a short time! And 388 km/h isn't really bad!

It is December 2nd, 2007. For the first time we manage to get our vehicle
for the Nardo event in time so that we can present it on

Jan Fatthauer and his workshop manager have the pleasure of visiting Nardo

Expectations for 9FF are high! Can we build on our previous successes with this project? Each participant has three attempts after a warm-up round!

At the end the light barrier shows 336.3 km/h! We did it!

The CT 78, powered by bio-ethanol, is the fastest motor vehicle
with alternative fuel.

The family man and engineer is satisfied. He calmly joins
to the other participants and start thinking about the next project.
